Thread regarding Aetna layoffs

Can we stop with all the reorganizing?

I am not sure what is the intention of these constant reorganizations Aetna is running, (other than to find new loopholes to lay off more people of course,) but the result is complete disorder, knowledge gaps, and management who cannot make head or tail of it. My job description and responsibilities keep changing and increasing, but the pay does not follow suit. It needs to stop, or we will lose what few good workers we have left.

They also may want to consider laying off and reorganizing based on merit, and performance reviews. Having a workforce population based on an "ethnicity quota" pushed by an HR Department is disgraceful.

Also - they may want to consider stopping offshoring. Here is my take on this:

  • all income and revenue comes from the USA

  • all spend should stay in the USA

  • we are financing other countries by transferring wealth there (Primarily India)

  • we get weaker, they get stronger

Do you need more arguments against offshoring?
