Thread regarding Aetna layoffs

Watch your back at Aetna

This job is stressful enough as it is on its own, but add to that supervisors who are looking to trip you and each other over any chance they can so they can score some points with upper management, and it becomes unbearable. Not to mention the fact that managers are completely unaware of what we actually do, which makes things even more frustrating. I've had three managers in the past year, every new one knew less than their predecessor about my job. But trust me, they will not be the ones to pay he price if/when something goes wrong.

I took the ERP offered for January 2017 and I do not miss the drama, mean spirited supes and managers at ALL. The severance packages are not great but the years of my life that I reclaimed are mine to do with what I choose and not spent sitting at a computer for 12-16 hours/day for a company that does not value it's employees. The company is top heavy and appears to be getting heavier. Outsourcing was not effective when I last worked but, I suppose cost has become more important than good, solid, easy to understand customer service.

There are lots of jobs for nurses out here.

It's still like this - my boss is the biggest back stabbing b--ch ever - she will smile and be all nice to you but will throw you under the bus as soon as she figures out that she's better off that way.

No loyalty, no camaraderie.
