If Amazon buys Sears that will place their BnM stores in the heart of numerous metropolitan areas allowing them to establish a foot hold there and use it to challenge Walmart. No matter how you slice it Walmart will loose this war thanks to CEO ML and his "vision" for the future of Walmart.

Walmart should buy SEARS/Kmart

They can convert all logical Kmart locations into Walmart’s and keep the associates.

They can save SEARS stores by remodeling them and adding other categories to compete with Lowe’s, Home Depot and other retailers I believe in the brand SEARS but it will require a total transformation.

Sears no lol Costco yes not atleast a Costco buy would allow Walmart to complete against Amazon's WholeFoods acquisition. The company has to make a move otherwise Amazon will become the winner that takes all. If that happends we are done.

SEARS/KMART... why would be buy a sinking boat with no chance to ever float again. Stores are in terrible shape, structure wise that is.

Sears and K-Mart are boat anchors to anyone that buys them. They are on life support in the ambulance heading to the hospital about to be declared DOA. No one is going to touch them at this point. No one has so far.
