So called "research center" in Bartlesville is nothing but a waste of money! There are bunch of technicians, none of them have any college degree or skills to perform their duties. Most of them are related to each other in some way or other and all they know about is cattle/horses/big fat trucks. They are getting big fat check though..80-120K...for what?! There are multiple levels of management to manage these people and multiple HSE people sitting in that building which is totally waste of company's money. It's time for ELT to look closely and decide if there is any need to keep it around.

Stay out of Whisky Bent and drinking with all those degenerates who know nothing about the research center. Last time I checked, the only things fat were the women hanging out at your inbred family reunion in Ponca City. The research center has many great employees who are educated and love the Bartlesville community! What's wrong with cattle and horses? If they were making 80-120k like you say, they would not need to be raising cattle and horses to supplement their incomes. I hope to God that United Way (supported by many at the research center) is funding programs for you and your special friends. Maybe you guys can take the short bus to Tulsa to the zoo and get a snow cone and gripe about the Bartlesville COP world and how it should be shut down. It must really s--- living your life!
OZB is correct. P66 runs the Research Center in Bville. COP has no role in the management of it and very few COP employees work there. Most employees work for P66 or CPChem. The OP needs to get a clue.
Phillips 66 owns the Research center, there only a few COP employees at the research center.COP has no say about the Research Center.
The research center is going along with all ConocoPhillips functions in Bartlesville. Restructuring and centralization just does not support the Bartlesville campus.
The ELT has looked closely and guess what? They are keeping it. Stay off the methamphetamines son, they are not good for logical thinking and make sure you are getting your sources correct. Nothing you babbled about in your senseless rant is true. Technicians are educated and are probably 120 IQ points above your level. Go back to your trailer house and take your pain pills. You are definitely butt sore about something!
