Maybe I am a socialist but I always think that if CEOs and other highly compensated executives were forced to earn 2-5 % less, and the money was directly added to workers salaries, the positive impact on the workers would be much greater than the negative impact on the executives.

Yeah. I know Eddie only makes a dollar and other executives would try to get around my suggestion but our economy should not be structured so your real estate company benefits when your retail company declares bankruptcy. To give one example.

Of all the yachts pictured I picked was the ugliest. THEN I read the descriptions to see which was his. It was the one I picked.

Not that I have any leg to stand on, I barely have bath toys much less a yacht. :-P

@1ulm - "Enough of this liberal crap about how wealthy people should spend their money, it's none of your business how he spends his money." Here, let me fix that for you; "In my opinion, how a person chooses to spend their money should be of no concern to other people." See, written in a civil manner with no insults or nasty attitude. You're welcome!

Enough of this liberal crap about how wealthy people should spend their money, it's none of your business how he spends his money. Get over it or move to North Korea or Venezuela

All CEO's live a wealthy life. I just would of liked the CEO to work at the headquarters just like any CEO would.

Yes, he is super wealthy. But they all are at the top of companies, and most of them don't pass the money down to the workers. It would be nice, but then we would live in a communistic society right? Whether or not you think he did, I am sure the guy worked really hard for his money, had some lucky breaks along the way with people he knew, etc. He was smart, made contacts where he needed to.

@rgx I would blame him for enjoying his wealth at the expense of the company he leads and the employees who do all the work to keep the business running.

OP-- Not really getting what you are trying to convey. So a rich guy has a yacht, so what. If I had that kind of money I would probably have a private jet. Don't blame Eddie for enjoying his wealth.

throughout my life ive always enjoyed a good chuckle every time they think theyve discovered something new....like no one knows about eddies yacht. lol

I bet theres some kid out there today that thinks he just invented the wheel only to have his dreams completely crushed when he realizes that driving up and down the very same street hes lived on for the first 10 years of his life are cars on "his brand new idea" completely dependent on the successful operation of a cars funtion......

I bet in ancient rome some kid thought the same thing but replace cars with a plaustrum. In 5000 years some kid will think he invented i dont know rocketry....lol. Im sorry its too funny.

Dont get mad at me op its not a personal attack on you, its humbling to me when when i figure something "new and wonderful things" only to find out its already been known...life is strange that way...we all live, some learn more than others, and then we all die.
