Hard-working group who get the job done and don't tolerate laziness or incompetence and deal with it appropriately, hence some of the comments below from the usual suspects. I had the pleasure of working for them as a consultant many times in the last 25 years.
The best people I've worked with during my 36 years
May shutdown but I dont think it will be in the next ten years.
I think there are arguments for either option
1gal, Oh you poor little baybay!!!! Back again posting false rumors about the office that you couldn't make the cut at because you are worthless and they discovered it? Don't feel bad, that's one office that doesn't tolerate slackers and they let you know, we're all so sorry that you consider that bigotry - LOL! Yes, part of the liberal false narrative, any negative comments about a pathetic PC liberal incompetent under-performing is classified as bigotry or racism, take your pick - we know the tired old routine LOL! Thanks for coming back again though with the exact same post every time, you're very entertaining!
Shut it down. Worst office environment within Chevron. Petty backstabbing and bigotry compared to other BU.
If the GOM money Chevron is spending is primarily on major offshore projects, it makes no sense to keep the Covington, Louisiana office. Just move the required personnel to Houston and axe the rest. If however, Chevron thinks there will be a resurgence in Louisiana onshore and shallow water in the next 5 to 7 years, then holding on to COV100 might be a strategic move.
GOM is good place to work. Anyone who says otherwise probably has never worked anywhere else before.
How many times are you going to start the same false rumor based post, troll?
Doubtful, that would make too much sense. I'm sure the GOM employees are worthy of relocation to Houston. Houston would welcome them gladly, a new life experience.
