SB does not pay well - period - especially if you are in management... Some managers were let go recently and the company is struggling - there is a ton of changes recently - some of it is good but some of it is not that great. HR is bad. Just bad. Cannot find out anything from them - they do not call back and it's hard to get a hold of them. HR will tell you one thing and then your HR business partner tells you something fairly different.
Dont you get me started on IT, they should be laid off first - our tech support cant usually help fix POS problems at all - they also do not call back - and when they do or if they show up they often cannot help - oh, well... Overall, my store, and other stores have a fairly high turn over, not a good balance between work and personal time - so, overall work/life balance s---s big time - even when you're not at work you will still get constant calls from everyone, granted this is for managers only.
They do close stores and we expect to close more stores- management will not talk about this but know it's coming as our numbers keep going down - it's challenging. Retail is challenging even though some companies are doing better than others.
