Anybody knows if they are done with this wave of layoffs, or should we expect more? We know a number of people were let go in the past two days, but I am yet to hear that anybody was let go today. Is it time to relax a bit, or is this just a short calm before the storm at UoPX?

Are layoffs over, NO!!
That shows how much HR at UOP knows of the legal system. We often hire criminal justice majors as paralegals in criminal law firms and the Department of Justice and other government agencies involved in criminal justice do so as well. Unfortunately, more and more of the UOP CJ grads are simply ex-cons getting a free education through the UOP partnership with the prison system. They can't read, write or do simple math. They are great at stealing from the taxpayers, so perhaps they are more suited for an upper management position?
More layoffs are coming and hopeful people have become hopeless and are abandoning ship. UOP has cut its muscle instead of fat. The only way to profit is through re-structuring and downsizing. Only students who have no other options or merely collecting their vet benefits will now enroll. Small campuses have to be phased out since enrollment is in such steep decline. Only the larger campuses will survive in the short term. Enrollment is declining as fast as it is growing at ASU, WGU, and Liberty. The next fiscal year is upon UOP in September and I would be shocked if there isn't more downsizing in the next two weeks. This was planned for the end of this fiscal year which is now.
UOP doesn't have a paralegal program. Perhaps you meant Phoenix College.
I ran an ad for a paralegal and had to turn down eight UOP grads who all failed my spelling and math test for over 50%. What a group of complete losers.
The fake degree selling business is collapsing noone wants to buy UOP degrees anymore
There will be more coming in the next 2-4 weeks.
If you want to work in an environment where there are not constant threats of layoffs, find another job.
Just relax. Upper management has it all under control just like they have the past 7 years. Nothing to worry about at all.
