I am a pal trainer, came to work one day, was handed a blue pal lanyard and told I had to train so and so. That was it, I didn't complete any course and was actually relatively new to my position. The only extra thing I received (no raise) was extra work because it takes twice as long to get anything done when you are training someone else. I hate training people but I wasn't asked to be a pal trainer I was told.
I was a PAL trainer back in my kmart days. Pretty useless except for showing new employees around.
