Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

Main problem is they are not held accountable. The managers that were preaching the big numbers without any cost control should be let go. If you don't let any of them go, how can you avoid these things. Most people have a hard enough time just trying to change one little thing in their lives, you think these managers will ever change how they do their business management? It is no wonder COP has such poor morale. No changes equates to same mistakes over and over. I was there when they preached they would "act like" an independent. And as soon as it was said, the bid processes took over and it never happened.
