It's just sad. Can confirm silent layoffs are going on in SJC from my viewpoint. Red badges are now almost entirely gone from the group and there's only a little over a handful of blue badges remaining. We were overflowing our floor a little over a year ago and pulling in many millions annually. Now stressed out waiting for the final axe to come.

Not fake, I have heard from 2 previous coworkers who got the 15 minute one-on-one request from their manager for Thursday morning.
Either they were pulling your leg, their manager playing with them, or they're getting cut under some excuse of poor performance.
