I used to come to this site to get real information about layoffs/job cuts, upcoming changes and useful information. Now it seems that it has become a platform for complaints about other teams, people, and we get the ocassional troll. I went from checking this page everyday to like maybe twice a week. The page is definitely going in the wrong direction.

People like to set up click bait material. Trolls love to do that stuff. You just take your time scrolling through everything to find the information you're looking for that's all. I only frequent this site once or twice a week because nothing eventful has happened.
It's all business as usual until something significant happens. That's why you'll more than likely see the same stuff over and over moving forward.
Low level employees are increasing on this site.... content gets worse due to level of information
Got it.
I'm not worried about not allowing people to speak their minds about sears. Please by all means! My isssue is the profanity, made up "jokes" and posts that have nothing to do with the company.
mze your statement doesn't bother me but I do speak up when one tries to stifle opinions and comments about Sears. Some folks have agendas and afterall it is in Sears's best interest to keep a positive public image to employees, investors and its customers. I believe the truth should be told. If you are interested in rumors and closings etc then click on those threads but allow others to speak their mind. Thank you very much.
I like to vent here also ... just seems there hasn't been anything new to post about layoffs or store closing lately... even with the extremely poor Q2 nothing new has happened. I keep checking hoping something will be posted soon,
It's to be expected. The longer this goes on, the more worried and frustrated people will get, and the more that leaks onto here. That rule also applies to trolling. More and more people hate this company and some of them decide to take it out on people here.
It will definitely get worse as time progresses. Nothing you can do but ignore the BS really.

I am not trying to silence anyone. I’m just speaking my opinion. I’m just a softlines associate worried about how much longer I will have a job, like everyone else.

Yes, I know its simple to click on the links. I’m talking about the seriousnes of some of these threads. Take your own advice and move on to the next one if my statement bothers you.
In my opinion it's ok to vent here. Where else can you? Pebble?
Someone trying to silence the voices. Just read the thread topics and click on the ones that talk about layoffs/job cuts etc and skip the rest. Seems simple enough.
nothing lasts forever
