I knew many department managers that were skipped over when an upper management position became available. Instead they would hire from outside. Which is funny, since the first few sections of the handbook boasts about how they promote from within. This company has no respect for its employees at all!
Agreed, @OBco4VQ-pua. I have seen the same thing happen, and it was bed at the time when they brought in outside people, but now, with everything that has happened? Even worse. No respect for this company anymore.
