What is the status be of the NXP merger? It seem not to happen now. If this is the correct is layoff be of the future time?

30% will be laid off in SD
Merger will happen. Qualcomm will have to pay $147 per share. Layoffs will be announced after merger closes and will be more severe than previously planned.
well layoffs will happen either way.... if NXP merger fails the stock price will go down along with investor confidence..... if it goes through there will be redundancy because of common groups in the chip development groups....as it is difficult to layoff people in Europe..... it will be all in SD
