A lot of people are holding back on what to do, till after this townhall meeting.

I honestly think it's only going to be an update on the company, too many people have read too much into this, thinking it's either going to be announcement of a big order or a merger with another company to work together on a very large project. It ain't going to be bad news as DQ don't give you 6 weeks notice on bad news, you get 5 minutes before you all get pulled thru for a meeting.

Let's just hope it's good news and Blake raise a glass of his wine and thank all of you's for your hard work and dedication to DQ over the last year.

To NW, "just be thankful you have a job" yeah I'm so thankful I have to work nights and weekends to feed my family while the wealth this company has made over many many years stays with the few at the top, doubt very much the current downturn has affected their lifestyles, no bonuses shared between those who have stayed loyal and helped create this wealth, wake up you loser. Time for me to move on, things are picking up and new opportunities are out there.

Just be thankful that you have a job regardless of 10% pay cut...sometimes we don't realize the inpact if you don't have a job so pull up your pants man up and do a Good job that you were Hired to do. Stop the words of complaining and be thankful that Dril Quip has you employed. Think before you speak because there's employees that appreciate that he's working for Dril Quip in order to support his family. Sometimes life throw curves we may not like but be thankful for what you do have a job like Dril Quip. Thanks Dril Quip for the opportunity as a employee of yours. NW-

Come on guys, blakes wanting questions put forward to answer.

Then there's reality, he's never going to give a straight answer to what everyone wants to know, when are we getting our money back & what sales figures are required to allow this to happen. DQ will never give you an exact figure of which will trigger the pay deduction to be returned. There's rumours of potential work coming, DQ will need every worker to step up to the plate get this work out, I'm sorry it's going to take a lot more than 10% pay back to get us motivated again, no pay rises for the last 3 years, we'll make that 4 years for including this year. You don't see Blakes bonuses getting 10% reduced.
