This is how WIndstream treats their employees. In Jan 2017 i informed my management team that my wife has stage 3 advance cancer and I will need to take my PTO to help her. On Feb 4th 2017 I was laid off for corp. right sizing. What a bunch of Bull Sh--. How could letting one person go be Corp. rightsizing.

I'm sorry to hear about your wife's diagnosis and your treatment by Windstream. I hope all is going well, now. Yours is not the first situation like this I've heard of form the company.
