If Sabre wants to remain a reputable company HR must take action and fire the director at sales&consulting who knew the layoff list 2 months in advance and manipulated the list by removing himself and putting hard-working employees to the list to save his a--. Several people reported this incident to HR, If HR does not take this seriously, does not thoroughly investigates and fires that director there will be legal consequences. Hard working and successful employees should have never been laid off in the first place.

I think people should take action right away, not just reporting to HR. Sabre HR is very weak as is well known. This HT has been doing sneaky things all the time: bringing his own incompetent folk (not even speaking English) to Sabre (a US company), playing dirty politics by placing his own people all around and treating hard-working employees like sh--s ... No surprise this time he set up his own boss ... This guy is nothing but a Turk military politician, knowing nothing about technologies but manipulating people ... no idea why he can be surviving in Sabre for this long ...
Perhaps it is time to incorporate a Union to this company and let go of all those myth busters out there and generate real channels between the employee and the employer cause HR and all around it really is rubbish at Sabre....

Well, it turns out that HT was quite a snake in my bosom. I put my neck on the line to get him a job in our company, and then he turns around and tries to get me fired!
Come forward and report your case to human resources, They cannot ignore you. if you afraid of HT, report what he has done to you anonymously. Be honest and truthful, but tell everything even the details you may think dont matter. They matter here in America, land of freedom, and free speech.
Unfortunately the HR at Sabre is really bad. They are not professional at all.
And unless the HR department us revanped, there is no hope for Sabre. The EVP of HR being let go was a good start. Needs to be followed up to the lower ranks

I heard HT put people he didn't like on the layoff list, including his own boss!!! Well, he is a snake no question about it. Best way is to stand up and to report wrongdoings to the human resources in person. Don't worry there is "no retaliation" policy.
