We've already had most of these cuts, just not all at once. We already got rid of the install office, reduced our delivery drivers, got rid of a bunch of specialists and the majority of full time people. The part timers hired are either very inexperienced, or people over 55 who get Medicare and don't need insurance. Two of the ASMs that are left are supposedly waiting to take over other stores. I guess they are going to axe some of the higher paid SMs. My SM seems to have taken on a lot of area responsibility. He's always going to other stores, which he seems to hate. There is so much responsibility dumped on regulars CSAs. I'm in charge of training associates in my area and I've only been here for about 5 months. I tell them I don't know enough to train people esp in nearby departments, but they just say "Yeah, its fine. " I can't even remembder the last time we saw our market director. I think we still have an HR but I rarely see her.
This is very similar to where I am, @NTaeAv4-Haki. It seems that Lowe's decided to do this in small increments over time as to minimize the blow-back. And it's working. Other than this board, I am not seeing anybody talking about this.
