Many retail companies are doing just fine - it's easy to blame it on Amazon and to say the whole retail industry is collapsing. The fact is, we have not improved in long time and the management (executive mgmt at the Corp level) is not providing the necessary strategic direction that's needed to position us well. Look at Home Depot, Costco, ULTA, Lush, Uniqlo, Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, Bonobos, they are all growing because they have been provided a path that includes innovation and pricing strategies that work. Oh, well...
