Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

Sabre poor quality due to uncultured leaders has made me weak in technology and now am not able to get outside

Outside companies are expecting very much which we were never able to use in Sabre. It is not like there was no place to use technology, but our great leaders are not at all professional/technical enough. Whatever we proposed was rejected because they have to learn and show to executives. Road side people are promoted to leaders position in Sabre and they have ruined our career.

Most of the so-called "Leaders" at Sabre are nothing but "True Politicians" who have survived all types of layoffs throughout their career in Sabre and they will still be there like rotten coackroaches by making others as Scape Goats till the company is completely / forcefully Shutdown. If Sabre really wants a turn around, Fire all the so called "Leaders" above 5-years experience becase their contribution to the organization is what Sabre is today?

@OAP0PqZ-1uxi I looked at market trends, learned new technologies, build some prototypes and applications, but interviewers, even if i say i have worked on the technologies, they catch on with questions about challenges faced. If i was that good to build a valuable application, i wouldn't be doing job, instead would be doing start-up or selling application and making money. We are here doing job because we are skilled labors not inventors. When i said 'am not able to get outside', i mean i am still inside and will not get fired, but want to go outside so that i get good work and my skill set becomes strong and hence my future is secure even in situations of companies going down. If i stay here long time and do simple things, my mind will not be active in thinking and will become dumb. Even if i study myself continuously, will not get the experience of working which companies look for. As i said am not inventor, just a labor.

For @OAP0PqZ-1uxi post, I don't consider myself a loser and I completely agree with the original post as I think I am in the same situation. It's a question of your workplace (your day to day tasks and responsibilities) not what the market trend is doing right know.

You may take hundreds of trainings regarding technology X or language Y but if you are not applying those same technologies in your daily work such training is useless in the mid term. And also while looking for a new job, the new employer/recruiter may ask you the magic question: "Tell me how/what projects did you employ technologies X and Y" and you cannot lie at that very moment...

It's not about losers, it's what some people is feeling about their jobs at Sabre. Plain like that.

So, you will just blame Sabre poor leadership (which is poor) for your lack of market awareness and getting behind with technology?

Sometimes I feel that mostly losers are posting on those forums. Most of people afraid on layoffs. Layoffs in software industry!

Where you can get job on the spot no matter where you are in the world as long as you're at least half decent.
