Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

I would lay you off

Everyone appreciates the leakers but this is pointed at all you whiners.

No one wants to hear you cry on here or the company message board. If I were in management I'd mark all the people that are crying the blues and fire them. Id also fire the guy alan who does nothing but post all day arguing with the cry babies. looser.

For those of you walking out the door today and next week. Good riddance. If you are worth your weight you'll get another job. If you're not I hope you enjoyed riding the coat tails of others.

Our company s---s because it became too pc and run like the fed. Papap Trump would fire all you loosers. Boo hoo.

In my department, they kept the one who took FMLA every year, never did the asked for overtime, and admitted the job was there to serve her and not the other way around. She got crap raises for being a nominal employee and was a part time worker with full time benefits. I know that I wasn't let go for being a slacker. I cost the company more money because I earned more. Pure and simple.

At least Tony Thomas got to take his family to France on vacation this year.

As a former manager at WIN, I knew that the model they are using is not sustainable. Selling your fiber plant and buildings to leverage debt while continuing the dividend was a very bad decision. It places WIN into a position where they are only a services company.

The best thing you can do for your career would be to change companies at this point, that is what I did. Good luck to all of you.

Well how many people got laid off yesterday or today? Zero. Way live in fear.

People like you all cause a toxic work environment because all you do is cry about it. I would still lay you off! Get to work "loosers".

You are stupid if you think your job is safe, unless you are one of the 155 VP's.

" Many of us are not worried about layoffs because we work hard, are good at what we do, remain busy and have jobs that are necessary for the company to run.

To the rest of you... Good luck these next two weeks."

That's very naive. Several of the people I know who got laid off worked hard, were busy, and were good, and now they are gone. Everyone is at risk.

OP will be crying on here, when he gets hit in the next wave. I worked fir Windstream for over 10 years, and was very good at my job. The bean counters don't care about that, just numbers.

Lol. Although Op might not be able to spell loser... he hit it on the nose. Many of us are not worried about layoffs because we work hard, are good at what we do, remain busy and have jobs that are necessary for the company to run.

To the rest of you... Good luck these next two weeks.
