There is NOTHING efficient in Noble's DJ Basin. There's a reason they have such a high Noble Energy employee turnover rate here in Greeley... everyone with common sense or experience is jumping ship before the market is flooded with overpaid and under skilled workers who have drank the managements Patina Kool-Aid for far too long.
Lots of Patina era people are still in the Noble DJ Basin, some are management some even sit on the board of directors. I can speak to this without removal of their management structure in the DJ it will fail regardless what company logo is on the top of the check.
The former and current management within Noble's DJ Basin DOES NOT have the foresight nor prudence needed to build the DJ into a thriving Business Unit, one with a well thought out infrastructure and a design philosophy that is planned with ALL details considered.
It seems like Management here has forgotten that a design and review team should entertain criticism, welcome new thoughts and ideas and when these review teams are faced with unprecedented challenges they can call on their counterparts in other parts of the business or industry for direction.
Far too long even low level Managers have sequestered ideas of employees with different views of how to incorporate a better, safer, different way to design a facility, or well design, pipeline infrastructure or perhaps just a more efficient way of doing things. These employes were/are often ridiculed, pushed out or just let go from Noble in some way, shape or form.
Ed…. tell the contestants of this acquisition what they get …..Well Johnny……the winner of this acquisition inherits a crumbling infrastructure with a serious lack of integrity management and a Management with a serious lack of integrity… in their management.
