Tenured salary employees 10 yrs +....should be singing "🎶Let Us Go🎶" with a servance package....OR contact those to ask if they would be willing....
-here is a thought; since stores have more "non-selling" positions and wig the most help during daytime.....change store hours to banker hours! Ghost salesfloor associates after 5pm. Less hours for utilities & payroll, better work/life balance for all, it also would affect the call centers, help desk too. You know, people's health maybe better. Routine for sleep, eat, family time...oh gosh, I'm dreaming!
Someone also mentioned, stupid price changes, maybe set a price and LEAVE IT. Credit signage, promos for holidays, otherwise it's 5% everyday. We have so many "different" promos, we can't keep up. Remove all the extra reg/money that we don't use due to coverage. Why run "ads" if we have "every day low price", Black Friday/Holiday is the same product year after year (evolve there!) Stop "employee appreciation meals" that comes from the stores bottom line (impacts SSEI)..if you did appreciate US, GIVE US HOURS- payroll is people to help customers, a paycheck for employees to provide for themselves & family. THINK ABOUT INSIDE THE BOX!
