Tommy was a slime ball when he was CEO at Remington. He screwed over those employees too ( I was one of them)

More than likely he's already purchased a house somewhere else. It's just a matter of time he'll be packing his stuff up and letting the realtor's take care of the rest. There's no way he's going to stick around until that house is sold. He has tons of money he can uproot anytime he wants.

He is a greed driven sociopath. His disregard for the brand, the never ending change to keep everyone on edge, his womanizing away from Sidney - and the sale to cover up ineptitude - classic case of self centered agenda and leadership. We were taken for a very bad ride

Approximately 15 months ago tommy called us all into a meeting to announce we were going to focus on camping, hunting, fishing and shooting. It was the 20/20 vision he said. Now looking back on everything that has transpired, he knew then that he would be moving on. Zero respect for him. How did he see us in the halls and in our office, and act like everything was fine?

Check it out.

http://www1.salary.com/Thomas-L-Millner-Salary-Bonus-Stock-Options-for-CABELAS-INC.html

The we site states that Tommy made $4,167,465 in 2015.

Across the entire company, the average salary is $30,000. Almost 140 times the salary of the average worker.

He doesn't even have an education in business, and it is showing. He has a BA in Ancient languages.

He walks away with millions and destroys the lives of thousands of faithful and loyal employees.

There is no defense for that.

That he is asking 1.5 is a further slap in the face to all of the employees and the Cabelas names. The last post is outright funny - poor Tommy - let's see, he is the CEO - everything flowed down from him, all decisions, visions, final spends, firings and layoffs. He is a disgrace. He has left a town, a company and the entire workforce in shambles with the only vision being his greed.

D--k and Jim had a life filled with the passion of the outdoors and the brand - tommy, a trail of greed, dog shows and devastated companies sold off for his gain. That he would list it before the final word is once again proof of his poor decision making process.

Good luck tommy on selling your out of place greed castle.

What's the point of attacking Tommy and his house? The merger is about to go to vote and will more than likely pass. He will be out of a job in a few weeks, why wouldn't he try to sell?? I understand that people are frustrated with the merger and uncertainties we've all been living with over the past year, but it took more than just Tommy to make this merger go through. It took years of poor decisions from leadership at all levels of the organization, less than stellar merchandising decisions, and buying way too much inventory. This site has devolved into childish name-calling and finger pointing.

According to the whitepages.com this is indeed his home. His home is not impressive.

The city of Sidney should buy the place and turn it into an upscale dog park, we don't have one of those yet.

This should not surprise anyone, he and all of the other execs are expected to take the money and run after the sale. BP doesn't need another CEO, just the support staff that will be based in Sidney.

I just did a thorough look through the pictures posted on Zillow. It doesn't take a detective to figure out that is Tommy's place.

We have the Tommy's man cave slide.

They breed and show Briards and most of the pictures and figurines are of that breed. Look at slide 53 on Zillow and check out the picture in this link:

http://www.suntelegraph.com/story/2012/12/18/news/for-the-love-of-briards-the-millners-story/224.html

They are the only Briard breeder in the Sidney area.

So, I would say it is a very safe assumption that this is the Milner place that is for sale. That sure doesn't look good for the company. Looks like a preemptive run from Sidney for the Milners.

I noticed, on slide 17, the grill is definitely not one sold by Cabela's.

Go to zillow.com, search for Sidney, NE, find the one selling for 1.5 million dollars, and browse the pictures...

You will see lots of those stupid dog pictures and artwork. In one picture there is a sign over the door that says, "Tommy's Man Cave".

The house is only worth $1 million, but I guess he thinks someone will jump at the chance to spend 1.5 million in the current market.

Goes to show...some are not too bright. I'm surprised he bought a house in Sidney, with his track record.
