Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Retirement payoff for top tier

I think the Chairman of the Board is trying to payoff Niblock's parachute as CEO to go away that includes his crew of Executives. They are cutting a lot of payroll expense and all other benefits etc.' to break even the cost for his retirement. CEO makes Deals when they get hire in as CEO. What ever this golden parachute for Robert Niblock payout will also be the excuse to cover up all the expense control the will have to do.

Yup, @NTaeAv4-8kcy, this sounds about right. We end up doing work of five people for the salary of one to cover those costs. They got me to a point where I am about ready to leave Lowe's on my own, which I am sure is the point.

Insider trading info. You'll know some of these names.

Also, maybe trying to look profitable to sell? Just a thought.

Everyone at my store has updated their resume and is actively looking for work. We're also planning a sick-out on July 4th to show Lowe's how hard it's gonna be once all the people who know anything are gone.

See how profitable the company will be with the new part-timers they are hiring; walked though paint the other day, the kid working there asked "can you show me where the deck stain is?" So much for Lowe's training. Oh yeah, that's right. The paint manager didn't get one of those new "service manager" jobs and he quit to go work somewhere else.

Can't they fire him? Morale is at an all time low. Specialists are being lied to, being told "it's only a title change." How much further into the black hole can Lowe's fall before the shareholders realize they are killing their own golden goose?
