A few years ago an AST supervisor went into the United Way website and made pledges under the Sales Managers ID Numbers. She was suspended for a week then promoted to the DiRECTOR of stores Administrative Assistant for The Southeast and Northwest whose initials are MK.
This company has so many double standards. She literally took money out of their paychecks and gets promoted
I am sorry but Macys needs to sink with all if their corporate idiots.
I lost track of how many lunches, and breaks I worked through. How many times I came in to work sick as a dog because they "didn't have coverage" The only people they semi care about are the ones with the highest sales. And even then it's only while they're the big sellers.
Macys is in the habit of making their associates feel as though they don't do enough. So when associates work through lunches, and or breaks they don't say a word. Not until they know a their district Mgr is coming that they start saying "oh no, you can't work during lunches or breaks. We've never said that was ok" but they never stop you either. Their system is horrible. The ONLY thing they care about is sales! So they will use, and abuse their employees as much as they can. They will let you do shady sh-- if it's to their advantage. They won't give you a day off if you're sick and ask for it, then if you call out they will retaliate by giving you less hours or putting you in a sh--ty dept. I went on LOA for a back issue that needed surgery, and while I was out they told me I was going to be laid off as soon as the Dr. released me.
Oh, it's lip service that got this gal promoted, alright.
How was it possible for this AST Supervisor not to be termed for this dishonest behavior? Integrity always......it is just lip service, isn't it? I have lost all respect for Macy's.........So sad........

Also if you are on a DML you cannot interview for a promotion. Well within 4 months of the DML she received a huge political promotion. Deep Dives are the biggest joke and not to mention coaching. I lived this for many years. Start taking care of the associates that take care of you. Cannot wait to hear engagement results.
