Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

I heard that Surmont is being sold but when?

I've heard that COP is selling the rest of their Canada assets to CNRL and heard that it will be announced very soon but when?

Anyone have any details?

Press briefing will be next Tuesday when Spicy will deliver the news that the US will take over Canada and Trump is moving the White House to Ft Mac. He is going to rename it Trumpland and will be the centre for the new EPA offices.

The xompant needs somewhere to burn money. No better place than an asset managed by operators

@tsg: what?

What's left of Canada is getting ready to dust off the cheerleaders and work on a plan to re-energise staff. It will be harder than selling snowballs in Nunavut in January.
