Tommy and his hand picked team of big box misfits came riding into town thinking they knew it all and were going to show the world just how smart they were - in the end, they did - as in the movies line, in the end, they f$&@?d it all up". And they did the stores are a total disgrace, the catalogs and selection comical and unfortunately they are being rewarded for it.

You hit It perfectly. And adding to that, that his team flushed so many capable people out the door - the premise was making way for new - the result, well, you summed it up perfectly. It is hard to believe that something like this could even happen, yet we are living it. Poor or nonexistent leadership can take down the biggest and the best quickly.
