So apparently our manager is making us work Monday Memorial DAY we aren't at our goals. Message coming top down from her boss. IS this legal to make us work on a holiday? We were also told it was floorwide here in PGH. Is that true? Another's manager was heard telling his team that the holidays can be taken away at any time and we should basically be thankful.

Sounds a lot like you can work Monday if you haven't hit your goals (read veiled threat between the lines). That's how it was when I worked there. My advice, take Monday off. Call in sick or whatever. If you're short on plans they're gonna fire you anyway.

Holidays off are at the discretion of the employer, not the employee. Next, a WARN Act notice is only required if there will be layoffs effecting 100 or more employees at a single location or 1000 or more company wide.
