Thread regarding Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. layoffs

There is no layoff, only induced(forced. ) resignation

There is nothing like layoff in Indian IT. Only induced resignation under threat of being labelled incompetent.

This method evolved by Nasscom to keep the negative publicity at bay.

These guys are trying to fool the government into giving more incentives and avoid taxes.

Seems IT. Firms made huge donation to political parties and doled huge ads to media houses to cover this huge management failure and lack of strategic planning in Indian IT CEOs.

How come they did not anticipate the impact of Automation and cloud for the last 10 years.

Profit mongering behind theses forced staff exits.

All low salaried fools being retained if u take. Closer look.

Raj Mehta's mail to employees was full of lies, illegal, unlawful, forced and threatened resignations are still continuing in Cognizant,by this they are not only terminating employees but also giving them a tag of bad performer, that too who has worked with them for more than 10 years, the only solution is Raj and Frank resign and hand over the company to others,we cannot be at the mercy of american i vestors like Elliot

Very true, some Mumbai based media houses have been publishing paid news that showed senior employees in bad light for last few years.

These news papers and channels are owned by business families and hence unreliable.

Nasscom and techm first used these nasty methods to fire people in 2009 and other companies adopted it, courtesy m&m group chairman.
