Any idea what a chairman's focus store is? I used to work for the company a couple years ago (about 7 years), and start working for Kmart as a second-job. My store is classified as a 'chariman's focus store...' I know from my prior stint with Kmart, a focus store isn't a good thing. Any clue what this means?

In my region the focus store is not owned by seritage and it has truly awful sales especially for the mall it's in. I don't know what the focus means though because it's one of those corporate nonsense words. The focus store has not closed though and another local Sears store has so what it means is anyone's guess. The closing store isn't seritage either.
I've heard of other "focus" stores - "Shrink Focus" , "Safety Focus" but never a Chairman's Focus. I can only imagine in current day Sears Holdings this would mean that it's one they own the building for, and they may as well keep open until they can find a buyer for the real estate, otherwise it would already be a liquidator-focus store.
