It's just the beginning really.... either we right size the company properly now or it's a goner. Just a FYI.... it's been close to 1200 or more employees from Canada gone in the last two years..... pathetic really....
My best inside knowledge is Houston needs a big layoff (keep checking the govt workforce page as it's coming soon) and bville needs to be wrapped up and closed as per the long range plan. Just do it and get it over with.
One last comment is that we all have to start moving to other companies as all we do is wait and lose an opportunity to be happy cause that ain't happening with COP....
Plus an additional 100 employees working Canada in Bartlesville although we expect to continue recording the properties for Cenovus through the end of September before being let go.
585 moving to Cenovus, 300 laid off, 50 transitioning out, and who knows how many looking for a new job right now to escape this poison environment. 935 and counting.
So how many individual will no longer receive an employment check from COP?
