Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

What's Next?

So far we have tossed Indonesia Offshore, Canada WCBU+FCCL, San Juan, PAB, Alaska's Cook Inlet.

Any others already sold or on the market?

What will be the next one announced?

I left PPCo many years ago when it was still a very good company. I still watch what's going on with producers. Wow ..... I find it very sad and unfortunate what I see going on with COP. No question the downturn in oil and gas revenue doesn't help, but it appears there's mismanagement and top heavy? I've seen the producers over staff with engineers and managers in the good times then fail to adjust appropriately when times get harder. Sure looks like they would learn. Fewer people .... pay them very well if they provide quantifiable value .... move on and not hurt so many with layoffs.

Analysts asking for a growth story. Selling assets is flat lining the share price. L48 is cumulative negative cash flow. Huge $$$ corp overhead... Buy SOMETHING. Show that we want barrels and additional cash flow. We are drowning in corp bloat. Capital growth is the only direction now.
