My group lost over 30% of us to layoffs already this year. That's 1 in 3, gone. They can only pull out that rabbit a couple more times and there will be no white collar jobs left to cut. Many of us who remain are looking for our next job already, and most are nervous enough that it is affecting our performance

The layoff rumors have slowed over the past week but morale has never been lower. Employees do not care anymore thanks to the lack of confidence in leadership. Any continued talk about round 2 layoffs? I have been hearing mostly September but a few are speculating June. Haven't heard any new chatter within the last week.
Where?
Even employees that have been with GE over 20 years (rare breed) are calling the place a joke. Most would have been gone long ago. The only reason they have not left GE is they feared loss of their pension. Rumor is the pension is now on the chopping block. Goodbye GE!!!!!!!
