Anyone know when? Management doesn't have the decency to at least admit it's coming. I know they'll never say who, but WHEN would at least limit the rumor mill

In reality, the cost of doing business is astronomical compared to manufacturing facilities in south east Asia. Union or not, other plants in this company have a labor cost advantage.

No way are the plant costs too high. It is non union. They hire and fire at will.

There is not much for competition in that area also.

I cant see how you would think Berwick costs are too high. If the costs are high, it is because the land as it certainly is not for the labor/wages.

30%, focused mainly on drilling. The plant's costs are too high to be competitive for companies "shopping around"

I heard it is not good for Berwick.

What i dont understand is the company cant branch out into a side industry to keep plants open. We have top engineers, welders, machinists, and manufacturing facilities.

If someone is shopping around, the could go with us versus some random engineering firm that would bill by the hour.
