Thread regarding Cabela's Inc. layoffs

April 7th was,like any other work day, until around the late morning, I was called into the office for a meeting on being late for work, which I haven't missed a,day or been wrote up since I was given a,final...made sure if that, and my car was broke down and I still made it on time since December 2016. Well this day I was told I had two no call no shows, which was one day I had the schedule in my phone so they said they meaning my manger and the AP guy stated they would forget that incident, and,then March 18th was the next day they were looking at, I told them a,friend brought me in at 10 am I clocked in at 10:55, my shift was 11-8pm that day but they stated it was 8:45-5:45 and I said I know that & was,asked by the Sr. Manager to come in later because two outfitters were on vacation and we,didnt have a closer especially in a,Saturday!! I would,have chosen to leave early on a,Saturday ..trust me. Who wouldn't and,I said that to the AP guy. He said true...I said why would I work the,while day if i didn't have to, even showed him the,text from the lady that picked me up saying we,were working the,same shift. They didn't care, I told them what the manager had said and they disputed it saying he wouldn't do that, well of course he was coming back to work from vacation the next day and could not confirm what was going on. And they could not wait another day? Even though they waited a month already to speak to me about this? So they terminated me for working a longer day ...but called it a no call no show???? How is that possiblri??!
