I heard Tim Horton's has adopted the McDonald's business model and will be serving breakfast all day. That will be the big announcement we are waiting to hear from Canada this week.
CNRL has $21b in debt and is on a watchlist for a debt downgrade. They aren't buying Surmont unless they get an unbelievable deal.
There's no announcement, no pending sale to CNRL. Nobody wants these assets for the asking price. You're working for COP for the forseeable future. Sorry.

It's CNRL doink and anyone within would already know that. The teams have been working on the disposition for a month already. Announcement should be very soon but may not be this week due to some other corporate announcements. The deal includes Blueberry and a small portion of the asset teams. No service teams will be going over, HR, REFS or IT
