What they really did was set the stage to buy chunks of it later... While larger companys have gone bankrupt Neimans is going to have to chop more to pay bills...its only a matter of when.

Saks Merging with Neimans will only damage Saks and drag it down so bad. Saks is better on it's own.
Now Saks lpst 164 million dollars in spring quarter..they arent buying anything...
Ways ago i said that merger wouldnt occur.. Neimans is a collosal mess that just cant be fixed...You would have to fire the board and start over and that still wouldnt fix it..
