Lowes should outsource the FSA's to a cleaning company. They can show up and clean the store after it closes and leave an hour later with the employees. Our FSA spends most of his time assembling grills and mowers. Rest rooms smell and are never clean. We put a quarter behind the trash can and it stayed there for 6 weeks.

I don't know about your store, but at ours the FSA appears to have not much to do and what he does do isn't much.
The cashiers are required to empty the trash cans outside the entrances and exits as well as sweep the restrooms, flush the toilets (because customers can't do this after they use them), empty the trash cans in the restrooms, and clean the mirrors.
We had one amazing FSA at my store and one bum FSA. The amazing one got fed up and left and now manages over 20 people as part of a professional cleaning company. He does one of the jobs at a medical lab himself for 2-3 hours a day and everyone else does the rest. The replacement is never around, tries to stick soap dispensers to mirrors with duct tape, etc.
All depends who you have and the pride that they take in the job. A cleaning crew isn't going to put in a work order on a panel saw and it shouldn't be on the receiving manager (or well, the zone manager now) to do that.
fsa's keep the store standing and operating and your saying to dismiss the job. You sound Stupid right now
A lot of companys out source their janitorial positions to companys specialized in cleaning places of business. It's not uncommon, and even less so insulting. Positions such as Loss Prevention and Human Resources are being rolled back to resemble other companys' structure. FSA's should follow suit.
I find that offensive since i am an FSA. I work hard to make this place look nice. Its common that people such as yourself don't appreciate what we do. Ill suggest to you what i suggest to people who give me crap when I cant clean up the mess they make right away: Clean it yourself if it bothers you that bad!
