I wanted to be laid off so I get the package but instead my co-worker got laid off while he was working on client project.

CHPC/ Ardmore:
3 liner hanger engineers laid off
3 liner hanger contractor contracts cut.
There has been 8 engineers (including myself) from Liner Hangers transferred to other centers and product lines.
Mostly retiree's and contractors , normal practice.
Ardmore??? What position i though that was the most advance technology center
Pensions and retirement packages are off the table. SLB has many options left and many employees to sacrifice before they need to worry about anything. Just ask those who left 2 years ago and judge for yourself about how stable your position is.
