Thread regarding Syntel Inc. layoffs

We all value of AVP and VP

DMS are made into VPs quickly as business is diminishing and if they are not promoted (of course without hike) they are easy catch for competitors. They have been promoted to their incompetence and will be made to leave on own accord and no one will pick them up in job market due to the label VP.

this slows down the business loss. see how the amexc account is gone.

We all value of AVP and VP in some global banks. (team leader is AVP and first level manager is VP)

With out credible professional execution and delivery capability , any amount aggressive sales will be useless.

In Indian IT services context aggressive sales means (50% discount on billing rate).

100 VPs, 300 DDs,600 DMs, 2000 PMs, 4000 PLs , 3000 SEs, 2000 Trainees...So where is the workforce.... for 5000 junior people, 7000 Leaders ...and remaining 8000 are KPOs. So far 5000 billability they have 7000 managers... Looks like Pakistan and Bangladesh population without any income

Need of the hour is to put fire below the a$$ of VP's and see the miracle results.

These VP's have been too lazy and enjoying UK USA vacation time with their families.

Time to hit them with a stick in their back.

DDs, VPs in Syntel are not getting any business.

Even if they layoff 2000 employees that will not help.

Need of the hour is aggressive sales.

RK is story teller will not be getting any sales and has to leave Syntel in few weeks.

A new CEO would be joining.
