Slb is still profitable a bit, thanks to historical contracts, those contracts by nature havent been renewed for years now.

Oil extraction methodology isnt same and slb still thinking old way sadly.

Remember too big to fail ? Those were banks which financing slb too!

Investment banks, hedge fund, financial institutions are running this company and they have been very unhappy with their ROI and Slb is been under pressure for its M&A and since the time GE wanted acquire some segments wihin slb by leveraging thru investors.

Most of slb investors want to take their mony to different sectors or if in energy to different companies. Slb running cost is extremely high and not pretty on papper to investors.

Historically slb share dividend rate is been very attractive but slb is been struggling pay this rate since few years ago and want to reduce it, consequences are traders and brokers will dump shares, investor move their funds and share price will free fall. That will affects everything for employees and slb.

You should know what you have signed for.

Pretax Margin -6.85

Net Margin -6.07
