Thread regarding Advance Auto Parts Inc. layoffs

advance PDQs

I have been with Advance for a long time, when i started we had 22 stand alone PDQs throughout the company. Now we are down to 5...Super HUBs are a joke and do not have imventoey accuracy of a PDQ. Everytime I order a part from our super hub i get a call saying the inventory was off and they do not have the part, usually after the time it was promised to a customer.I usually habe to call my local PDQ and ask them if they can get it. The manager and supervisors there are a big help and have saved my a$$ multiple times.

I am sure the 5 left will be on the chopping block soon.

Our manifest states 98% yet our sales floor is bare.

Hubs arent as accurate? Ask enfield dc41... i get 70% fill rates and am shorted at least 1500-2500 daily

PDQ not delivering on TIME cost our stores LOTS of money people and Professional shops going to our competitors. And now its COST US GREAT DL's and GM's its not the store's its PDQ can't get there stuff together. I am a GM and I call to complain but its our fault is all I get from our drivers I work my MORE hours than I get paid for guess what I get paid on a 40 hr base. but have to work 50 it would be nice to just work 50. so I don't want to hear its not PDQ's and Adavance Auto Parts fault anymore. I am a GM I work all the time even on Vacation.
