Asset Protection and Cams!!!

Good post - reposting from @NUs4ICx-naz - I did not write this but I thought it was very thoughtful:

Cams were redundant, asset protection was never present in the stores unless something big was happening, and some districts needed to be realigned.

As far as HR? I luckily only had to call them once, and they had to call me back because the first person I spoke to didn't know how to answer my question.

As a frontline team member I am not worried. It s---s to hear that some respected leaders were cut loose. But the free market dictates what is, and is not, necessary. AKA the bottomline. Hate it, love it, or otherwise, it falls on us. If you can't stomach that fact then you need to get a government job.

If you are sad that your DM or CAM or whoever got laid off, remember that even though they get paid orders of magnitude more than us, if you had truly wanted them to stick around, you would have tried harder to increase your SPH and add ons. I remember on starting line when they pointed out that if every store had sold 2 more project packs per day we would have increased our profits by more than 1 million. If we had increased the company profit by that much it is possible there would have been more money left over for payroll to keep our favorite leaders on the books, so to speak.

I puke having to write that paragraph, but I never, nor will I ever, dispute statements of fact.

Most people that visit my store will not spend the extra money, simply because they do not have it. And I don't blame them.

The whole sph and add on pitch is just that, a sales pitch. The company is cutting out people to make up for their bad decisions. Greco is not the best choice. I agree with you all the way up until you blame it on the stores. You can have the best salesman ever packed into a store but with no hours and no decent leadership you will get the same failing result

About time someone sees it for what it really is. At the end of the day it all comes down to sales. I'm sorry but is you work Advance and you are not focused on selling the entire project or seeking that feature item of the month, or selling that project pack then you are part of the problem not part of the solution

I also work at the DC and that was well said in the previous comment!!! We have lost the best management the last few days that really cared about their employees. All so the CEO can put his $22 million a year salary in his bank account.

I work at a DC we have met & went above our goals daily. They said corporate is cutting store shelf inventory to 1/2 what they use to keep in store. So that cut our daily rate/goal in half!! We are getting hours cut, days off & loosing awesome managers! Who is to blame for that!??

The managers that truly gave a damn are now gone, ad we are supposed to have good attitudes at work?? Yeah right that's funny, not knowing who your boss is & having to listen to 1.) A manager that doesn't know sh-- about your department & what works OR 2.) Listening to a team lead that thinks they are better than/smarter than "ABOVE" everyone else! Sounds like a frigging great company plan! NOT! Corporate needs to come down to our level (GWW) and talk to the ones that bust their asses everyday we know what works & which managers & team leads make a difference, let us vote on it or something!!
