Q3 Restructure (Must Read)

Third phase to begin July 29 2017:

All Sales Specialist including nursery will be demoted to csa5. There will be two new positions they can apply for: SSInterior and SSExterior.

Pro services will not be affected.

LP and HR will be reduced and become area positions to cover multiple stores. ASMs will be reduced to 1 per store. Those not chosen will receive severance pay of two weeks per complete year of service.

CSA 4 will be renamed Area Lead and given 8 core key as well as override card with C level overrides. This will be to assist with sales floor and front end unlocks.

Plant essentials will be gone. All live goods become pay by scan.

I have delt with some great people at lowes i no longer shop home depot i recently worked with a asm named jake at a store in couerdalene id he was a great help on our project wish our bussiness had employees like this thanks jake.

In our store, the problem is not with the Assistant Store Managers or the Service Managers, it is with the Store Manager. Employee Opinion Survey is structured to protect store manager. Truthful answers merely skewer lower managers and leave the Store Manager unscathed. The place is a total crock.

And don't think for one moment that superior performance will be rewarded. It won't. Nearly doubled performance quota last year. Consistant leader on the Regional Top 25 list, lots of positive comments from customers, Reward? Most of the time I am too busy to get off the floor for a sip of water. As a customer, I will continue to provide you with the best customer service I possibly can, but know that that there is nothing in it for me, other than the reward of being able to look at myself in the mirror.

Had a f---stik new store manager try and change my schedule effective immediately. However all schedules must be posted 2 weeks in advance no exceptions . Store hr was clueless district hr lazy corporate hr finally payed me back Pay in lump sum . Quit after I received back pay

The Lowes store I worked at for over a year was like being at the Greyhound Bus Terminal. As many people leaving as arriving to work. Employee turn over is Ridiculous. I could not put up with petty, lying, lazy store managers anymore. There are better jobs & work schedules via other companies.

Kroger's has over 2700 stores & the food industry has gone thru tough change via Amazon.

Krogers is introducing a new 5 part program to improve the customer shopping experience. Improved store technology, shorter times in line, invest in store employees to help them with customers.

Lowe's talks improvements but does not do the walk. Ur field Mgt & store Mgt teams go back to their old Stock Boy ways of hiding out in the back office. Lowe's Corp Mgt all about Wall Street improving the stock price at the expense of store employees. Moral is terrible & reg, store managers are Clowns-- only concerned with their bonus. Employees & customers are the losers with Lowe's Mgt arrogance...

Lowe's without hurricanes would of missed 3rd Qtr results again. 2018 Lowe's will be underachieving again. Feel bad for FT & PT employees. Lowe's management only cares about stock price & Wall Street at the expense of Red Vest. Moral is bad & store Mgr treat employees like they have no value. HD will continue to take Lowe's customers.

Store 0248 Medford Oregon. Store manager and Hr Manager are snakes. Talk all nice and friendly to your face but plot against any employee that has a voice. If you speak up you are targeted. Hr manager makes ups stories and holds “focus” meetings, asking leading questions to make up proof. Store manager does not lead the store but bluffs her way through. Store is an unsafe mess all the time. As an employee I’m ashamed to work there. The stocking team has to clean up all the time after everyone, and gets blamed for everything. There is only so much one group of people can do and still get treated like second class employees by the store manager. You don’t dare complain or the “happy supportive joke of a store manager” will find a way to get rid of you. Lowes is definitely not a company that keeps long term employees anymore.

Part of Niblocks comments about Service Managers. Basically saying we f#@ked up and will hire part time associates who know nothing about home improvement......In the first quarter, we identified an opportunity to drive more traffic with improved messaging and an optimized promotional strategy. Work at a Lowe's PT. Bad culture--Unhealthy associate environment.

Plenty of associates have left last 5 months for better jobs where employers Value & Reward dedicate, hard working New employees.

Always shopped Home Depot tho--still get Veteren discount, cleaner stores, better sales items, larger selection & more knowledgeable associates.

Lowe's is in Self Destruct Mode & screwing with long time employees lives. Employee turn over is high.

Store management arrogant & clueless as long as they have a job. Store Manager vicious now.

All about Wall Street & Corp Greed.

Amazon is an excuse.

Home Depot is killing Lowe's right now.
