I have this this over and over again. Cost reduce a great product until it is just crap. All for increased profits. And then blame the employees for the train wreck.

Chef Boyardee will survive if it is away from conagra. In 2007 sales started to decline when conagra changed the recipes for cheaper ingredients to boost profits. The couple years before that the brand was expanding then after the changes it tanked due to the off taste. It always brought profit to whoever owned it but not the double digit numbers they demand. It will be a bargain to buy and hopefully if it is sold the new owners hand conagra their asses in the canned pasta market. Don't ever expect someone who knows stock market issues to know how to make food. Chef will survive with or without Conagra. Mislabeled raw materials from lowball vendors caused the recall for Chef not the finished product produced by Chef. Another incompetent management move.

The chef has recently been moved from his previous, prominent location adjacent to the former ConAgra headquarters at 10th and Farnam Streets to an obscure position in front of Building No. 6.

And soon to disappear from the company portfolio!!
