WFM Profit Margins after Amazon Takeover

OK - so let's think how liberating it is to be acquired by Amazon. We do not have to fear competition any more, no anxiety about prices and margins, we simply do not have to produce profits any more - that's Amazon's way - we'll need to grow, that's the game they are in - but when it comes to all pains that we experience day to day as we try to run our business, control cost - all that is gone now.

Have fun my brave sisters and brothers.

(how do I flag this as sarcasm - what's the rule - do I just enter /s to indicate it)?

Actually, Amazon HAS expanded by sacrificing margin and even operating at a lost. Read the business press much? That's their whole strategy. Whether it can work in the grocery business is another story. There's not a future in free food or free beer. This won't end well.
