I am just wondering how many have stayed and commute. I know that many that were told to go have stayed behind and that the company has turned a blind eye towards many of them. When Anadarko Petroleum Corp. annual fall layoffs come again will they make example of anyone who has not made the move or has lagged behind?

With oil spiraling downward it seems inevitable that more cuts are coming. Perhaps in this round they'll cut the hordes of incompetent managers who were kept from the last rounds because they're chummy with those directors and GMs that are calling the shots.
You have to understand that it's all politics. Some management will use it to terminate or otherwise negatively impact some, while they turn a blind eye to others. Just depends on who is spending the most time under their desks. Happens all the time. Unfortunately the scum rises to the top at APC.
