to the poster who stated he did not have a background at Cabela's only a master degree and stated his insight (which anyone with any common sense would understand) bass pro would fire every Cabela's employee in Sidney except a few with special skill they would transfer to Missouri. Bass pro would then bring 100 employees from Missouri to run the Sidney operation. I suggest the poster go apply for a job now at Cabela's. I notice on KSID Cabela's is advertising for help. If the poster got a insight of the operation at Cabela's in Sidney I think he would have a difference of opinion. I figure Cabela's have at least 22 huge building and probably excess of just a guess 75 different departments. Part of the operation will probably need to be run by the owner of bass if 100 employees run the Sidney operation . I will give you an example a 100 employees is going to require a lot of cross training. I can see a difficult situation occurring if the ceo in Sidney doesn't want to clean the restrooms if the cleaning person is gone one day . or if the ceo may not want to load the trucks in packaging for a day during Christmas or if the cero may not want to go off site to fill orders in a building without heat when it is 30 below out if an employee is gone off site.

Why would Bp keep anyone in upper management since they caused this mess? Start at the top and work down

It is a fake news bot generator. Either that or it is Cleetus Hatfield.

I KNOW Bass Pro has been gathering important information about operating processes from Cabela's and have been working for the last several months on how the transition will go down. I assure you they are not going to be confused or disorganized. A plan is in place.
The plan does not include the CEO cleaning restrooms.
Oh yeah, Bass Pro is going to struggle for years trying to figure out how to close up SIdney. Sure. Gotcha.
