Yup store is closing beginning of 2018. They can't afford to renovate. The pest problem and mold growing in the ice machines and behind the produce wet wall has become a liability. Guess they had to make a decision

It's nowhere near being in the red. It's a fixture - been around since 1993. Because it's not a free standing building there are limitations to the updates that can be done. People want to compare it to the other San Antonio location which has a BBQ bar, ppfds case twice as big, 2 huge salad bars, a beer and wine bar that also makes food. But you can't have those at quarry. You physically have no room to do any of that. They are closest to downtown and places like the Pearl, Alamo Heights, Olmos. No way those people are going to travel across the city to the other location. Quarry does just fine, minus the long string of entitled lifers and slackers who tainted its image by complaining about it just like you're doing.
